Stratford Public Library features Human Book:
But You Look Good – Living a Normal Life with a Chronic Disease
Diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension in 1995, and told she had less than 2 years to live, a lung transplant seemed the only option. Grace Wickenheiser has been on $100,000 a year worth of life-saving medication since 1998. Her prognosis is not good, and her condition has not stabilized, but in 2010, her positive attitude is a contagious.
What if you could ask Nelson Mandela, the Queen or a local graffiti artist about their lives and experiences?
